I did a review about an earlier book in this series and I said that it was entertaining but a little too much urban foolery for me. I continued reading the series and I have to say that this book, changed my mind about that. Yes, there is still a ridiculous amount of nearly unbelievable drama, but it works. This book completely renewed my interest in the series as well as earned my respect as a substantial piece of urban literature. I am now hooked and I bought the next book, Too Salty, as soon as I finished this installment. There are so many characters and so many strange connections that often times its very hard to keep up with who is who and what is going on between all of the characters; but if you can keep it all together, the story is worth the struggle to remember who is who and each character's storyline. I read this book very quickly and I'm already devouring the next one in the Salty series. I have to say that I recommend this book and I found it to be a great read.Product details

Forever Salty Salty A Ghetto Soap Opera Book 5 edition by Aleta Williams Gloria Palmer Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
There are very few series that I honestly enjoy each and every book and this is one of them. This book was full of drama, suspense, and was a true page turner. I'm not one to give the story away, just know that you will not be disappointed with this book. I can't wait till the next "season" begins on 12/31 because the next book might be the best one yet! There are some loose ends that need to be tied up and some people who need to be dealt with. Damn the anticipation is a beast!
THIS BOOK IS A REAL PAGE TURNER!!!! I couldn't put it down.. I got in a argument with my bf over this book, well he got in to one with me.. i ignored him and read until my allergy pills kicked in, then i woke up worked out and was back in the book. i went to the store then by my mom and was still reading this book on my phone and when that died i read the rest on my computer. i just couldn't stop.. and i still need more.. this is why im tweaking like a crack head for the next book.. i cant wait til december (feeling salty) omg lets fast fwd please..
I thought this book would flop or be on the boring side.....boy was wrong....I was introduced to new people and the regular characters were off the chain. I was rooting for jazz and praying for ya ya that she would get some sense....there are mysterious characters appearing and some are making themselves look and sound desperate. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great series to read. Please keep the books coming I love your work Aleta Williams!
This book picked up right where the last one left off. It was full of grimy and salty drama from beginning to end. I was a little disappointed in Jazz and how stupid she was acting. She finally was happy with Ken and everything going right, but she let Yay Yay weasel her way back in to cause havoc and pain. I was disappointed in Ken for falling for the okey doke with his ex and not seeing Peter for the grimy, salty punk he was..... I was glad Peter was killed in the end. can't wait for the next book so Calvin can finally get what he deserves....
I waited for this book and I must say it does not disappoint. The fifth installment picks up where it left off with Jazz and Ken starting their new life together. Of course finding eternal happiness for the couple is forever threatened by the following salty characters. Peter, Yay, and Calvin. Will Ken's and Jazz 's love survive the saltiness ? Read and find out for yourself and enjoy the roller coaster of drama, suspense and multiple betrayals. My only critique is when is Jazz gonna get super salty herself and destroy the lives of those who continue to pour salt on her ???? Can't wait for part six
WOW, ALETA WILLIAMS DID HER THING with FOREVER SALTY, it was SOOOOOOOO AMAZING. JAZZ, KEN, PETER, YAY-YAY, and the REST of the CHARACTERS were BACK, and SOME were GRIMIER THAN EVER. The SAGA CONTINUED with MORE DRAMA, JEALOUSY, GREED, BETRAYAL, BACK-STABBING, DECEIT, TWISTS, and SO MUCH MORE. As I READ, it REALLY FELT LIKE I was WATCHING a GHETTO SOAP OPERA on T.V., SO REALISTIC. I LOVE KEN'S CHARACTER, but I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in HIM. His POOR CHOICES are going to HAVE CONSEQUENCES. JAZZ ALWAYS GETS the SHORT END of the STICK. SHE DESERVES TOTAL HAPPINESS. This AUTHORESS WEAVED a PHENOMENAL STORY in the SALTY SERIES. I CAN'T WAIT for DECEMBER 31ST, the NEXT SEASON'S RELEASE DATE. FOREVER SALTY is MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.............
This book had me feeling a range of emotions. I can't stand Yay Yay at all and I wished someone would just kill her already. Colisa is grimy and should be ashamed of the stunt she pulled. I was rooting for Ken until he messed up big time. I gave this 4 stars because it started out boring but by the time I got closer to the end I was on the edge of my seat. I truly hope Colisa is not. I was proud of Jazz for finally standing up for herself, but then she fell back into a weak character. I hope in part 6 Ken and Jazz can get it together and Jazz can grow a back bone and stop being so emotional.
